Scholarships & Bursaries

Providing Bursaries to Students from Across the Columbia Basin

Each year, Columbia Power offers bursaries to high school graduates from across the Columbia Basin, to help students continue their education. Columbia Power is pleased to provide a $500 bursary to one graduating student from each of the secondary schools.

Columbia Power allows each secondary school to select on recipient based on the following criteria:

An individual who has demonstrated a real desire to excel, but who has not necessarily achieved the highest grade point average
The recipient must register for full-time studies within one year immediately following graduation
Funding is only to be applied against the cost of tuition and/or books

Scholarships

Columbia Power provides a $2,500 scholarship per year for each college in the Columbia Basin including Selkirk College, Selkirk College – Kootenay School of the Arts and College of the Rockies.
